- James Fester is an educator, author, and advocate for experiential learning with 20+ years of experience in public, private, and online education. He currently works for PBLWorks helping teachers and leaders create engaging, learner-centered programs, and collaborates with informal educational organizations to reimagine their educational programs. A national park volunteer, James supports parks and museums nationwide in reimagining their educational offerings. He is the author of The National Park Classroom: A Guide to Designing Project-Based Learning Adventures.
- Ian Shanahan holds a BEd through the University of Toronto and is an Ontario Certified Teacher. Ian was the General Editor of Green Teacher magazine, curriculum designer, voice actor and enjoyed 13 seasons with Ontario Parks. Outdoor and environmental learning aren’t just what Ian does; they’re who he is. He now is a Project Coordinator for the Outdoor Learning School & Store, and he oversees the stewardship of the Green Teacher Resources.
- Jacob Rodenburg, nature sommelier, is an award-winning educator who believes in the importance of connecting children to nature. He is the executive director of Camp Kawartha, a summer camp and outdoor education centre, and an instructor in environmental education at Trent University. An educator of three decades, Jacob has published articles on children, nature, and the environment; has taught more than 100,000 students. He is the co-author of the newly released book, The Wild Path Home: A Guide to Raising the Earth Stewards of Tomorrow. Learn more about Jacob, and the bestselling resources he has authored.
