Our Projects
Discover how the USNN is building a better future through community-driven environmental education, cultural knowledge-sharing, and sustainability initiatives.
Projects Rooted in Culture and Land
At United Spirit Nature Network, we believe lasting change begins with meaningful, community-based action. Our current projects span early childhood education, youth engagement, environmental restoration, and Indigenous-led knowledge initiatives. Each program is designed to empower communities, foster connection to the land, and promote sustainable living grounded in cultural values. Our work includes partnerships with Indigenous educators and organizations to deliver hands-on, land-based learning programs, educator training, and public outreach activities that center both ecological responsibility and cultural revitalization.
Current Projects at USNN

Nature Through Our Senses
“Nature Through Our Senses” introduces climate change education to children aged 4–10 through sensory exploration, Indigenous traditional knowledge, and play-based learning.

Preserving Black Ash
Black Ash (Fraxinus nigra) is vital to Indigenous cultural practices and New Brunswick’s wetland ecosystems. This initiative empowers communities, especially Indigenous groups, to protect Black Ash through mapping, habitat inventory, and conservation education—combining Traditional Ecological Knowledge and science.
