At USNN, our Nature Through Our Senses project is all about helping young people discover the magic of the natural world. And what could be more magical and essential than water? Every sip we drink, every splash in the river, every storm that rolls across our skies reminds us that water is life.
That’s why we’re so excited about the Blue Community Schools program—a creative, inspiring way to bring water education to life for students and teachers. It’s not just a school activity or a textbook chapter. It’s a journey that helps kids see water as something worth protecting, celebrating, and standing up for.

Since the program launched last year, it’s already spread across borders—from Peru to Ontario—and dozens of other schools are working toward certification.
